Cho Seungyoun was born on August 5th, 1996 in Seoul as the only child. He spent his teenage years pursuing his dream as professional Soccer Player in Brazil.
However, he began to experience homesickness while studying abroad. Then he returned to South Korea to pursue a musical career and enrolled in Hanlim Multi Art School in the Practical Dance Department.
He debuted in a multinational group called UNIQ in 2015 after trained for one year and a half in YG Entertainment. 2016, he began his promotion as a soloist named Luizy.

In 2018, he was first credited under the name WOODZ. He released the infamous digital single such as "POOL" and "DIFFERENT".

2019, he decided to be back as a trainee with 9 years experience and joined Produce X 101. He started with a low rank, 67th, but successfully debut as X1 member in 5th place.

After he finished his promotion as X1 member, he began his promotion as WOODZ again. He released his first mini album, EQUAL, in late June 2020.


Uniq (유니크) is a five-member Chinese–South Korean boy group formed by Chinese company Yuehua Entertainment in 2014. The group consists of Zhou Yixuan, Kim Sung-joo, Li Wenhan, Cho Seung-youn, and Wang Yibo. Uniq officially debuted on October 20, 2014 with their debut single "Falling In Love" in both China and South Korea.
X1 (엑스원) was a South Korean boy band formed by CJ ENM through the Mnet reality competition show Produce X 101. The group was composed of eleven members: Kim Yo-han, Kim Woo-seok, Han Seung-woo, Song Hyeong-jun, Cho Seung-youn, Son Dong-pyo, Lee Han-gyul, Nam Do-hyon, Cha Jun-ho, Kang Min-hee and Lee Eun-sang. The group debuted on August 27, 2019 with the single "Flash" under Swing Entertainment and was co-managed by Stone Music Entertainment.
